Boo!

Happy Monday, my friends.  Julie here, from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. The theme this week for the Joy's Life design team is Halloween bags.  I found an adorable one at My Scrap Chick that I decided worked wonderfully with the adorable Joy's Life Halloween Puns stamp set.

Scary, isn't it, LOL? I thought this was the sweetest ghost I'd ever seen with those rosy cheeks and top knot. I cut it out on my Silhouette, using Whisper gray card stock.
The Halloween Puns stamp set and all of the Joy's Life sets can be found in the Joy's Life store.

Don't forget to check out the Joy's Life design team  projects all week to see more Halloween bag inspiration. And, I always love visitors to my blog, Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.

Pencil Dot Art treat bags

Hi everyone, Maria here from Five Simple Things.
Today I'm sharing another Halloween treat packaging idea.

It's quick, easy and fun-approved by the kids.

I recently had the kids decorate some fun size
bags, perfect for giving out mini loaves of
pumpkin bread. yum!

Pencil Dot Art,
have you heard of it?

Here's all you need to create.

While the children were busy stamping,
I created some tags for the bags.

The sentiment stamps are from
Joy's Halloween Puns set.

Quick, easy and kid-friendly!

I'm nuts about you

Hello... it's Lori with got2bcrafting!
Can you believe it's Fall already?
I LOVE it!!
I am so excited for all the holidays that are upon us.  It's such a fun time of year, and I really love spending time with my family.
This week the DT has showcased projects using Burlap, Buttons, Kraft and/or Twine.
I was able to incorporate ALL of these fun products into my card:
Isn't that little squirrel adorable??
And Joy has the perfect sentiment as always:
This stamps is from "That Tastes Punny".

You can find this stamp set and all the other awesome sets at the Joy's Life Store.

I found this squirrel image at the Silhouette Online Store.
I embossed my background with a wood grain embossing folder and inked the top of it a bit.  I inked all the edges of my cuts as well.  I added a little white gel pen detail too.

I hope you enjoyed my card.
I would love for you to see other projects over on my blog.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a Happy Crafty Day!!

Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!!

Kendra here from Luv 2 Scrap N' Make Cards!

This week we are featuring Buttons, Burlap, Kraft Paper and Twine!

So I decided to use a few of the items to create this fun and simple Fall card:

I used the fun "Happy Fall Y'All sentiment from the It's All Fall Puns set!

Give Thanks

Hello everyone! Laura here from Laura's Crafts & More...This week the DT is making projects using buttons, burlap, kraft paper and/or twine! I chose to use burlap for my card!

I used "Give Thanks" from Joy's super cute set It's All Fall Puns...

I used inks to "rough up" my card base so it wouldn't be so bright and added some ink to the burlap too...

The cornucopia is a sticker I got last year at Wal-Mart (who would've thought!!)

Happy Fall, Y'all!

Hello, everyone, happy Monday!  Julie here from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers today. I hope you had a chance to enjoy the awesome Halloween in 3D blog hop over the weekend with Joy and the entire Joy's Life design team.  If not, it's not too late to view the inspiration! Start here.
It's all about using texture for a Fall-like feel this week with the Joy's Life design team -- buttons, burlap, Kraft, or twine.  Since yesterday was the first full day of Fall, we're right on track with these projects!
I used Kraft and twine for my Fall-feeling project, plus some autumn-like papers and falling leaves:

The sentiment is from Joy's Life "It's All Fall" stamp set.

You can find this set, and all her wonderful stamps, here in her store.
We barely hit 50 degrees here in WI today, with a cold North wind.  Yes, Happy Fall, Y'all!!

You're More Powerful than You Know Journal

you're more powerful than you know!

Hi everyone, Maria here from Five Simple Things.
This week the team is playing with
burlap, buttons, kraft and twine
to create some rustic inspiration!

I've created a journal with an
added bonus...a pen holder.

My inspiration came from Pinterest and was exactly
what this homeschooling Mom needed!

I used Joy's wonderful sentiment,
you're more powerful than you know,
from the My Hero set.
Such an encouraging statement, it
was perfect for my journal!

I had so much fun making this,
I even decorated the spine!

Scrapbooking - Too Cute to Spook

Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!!

Kendra here from Luv 2 Scrap N' Make Cards!

This week we are featuring Scrapbooking Layouts!

I love taking pictures of my kids and creating scrapbook layouts of all the memories we share!

For my post today, I thought I would create a layout for my little girl's album using the Halloween Puns set!
With Halloween right around the corner, I thought it would be nice to create one of her Halloween pages ahead of time!!
I had so much fun creating this layout, these cute little monsters work so well with the paper and sentiments!!

I first stamped the "Too cute to spook" as a border around where the picture will be placed!
My little girl is going as a "monster" this year!  We got a really cute bright pink and lime green monster costume on clearance last year that she fell in love with!!

I also used the large "Trick or Treat" sentiment from the set!

How fun!!

Creating this layout, really got me in the mood for fall!!

Boys Will Be Boys-Layout

Hello everyone! Laura here from Laura's Crafts & More...This week the DT is making scrapbook layouts using Joy's stamps! I haven't done scrap booking in FOREVER so it took me a while to get back into it!

I found these old pics of my boys when cleaning out some stuff a few weeks ago and I just love these pics of them together!!

I used some magic Mesh (I found a whole set of this stuff a while back in my stash and just love it all over again!!) and some truck "buttons" to jazz it up a bit. With boys you can't do too much "jazzing" so I figured this was good enough! :)

I used "Boys Will Be Boys", "Best Buddies" "Best" & "Brother" from the Father /Son set.

My boys are 18 & 15 now, so these take me back and just make me smile!! :)

Too Cute To Spook

Hello, crafty friends, Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with a scrapbook page to share with you. It's been a few months since I've found time to make a layout, so I enjoyed this assignment very much!
Golden Retrievers are wonderfully docile dogs, and my Sophie is no exception.  I dressed her up until she felt silly and went on a Halloween photo shoot for this layout.  What do you think? Is she too cute to spook?

Joy's Life "Halloween Puns" stamp set was used throughout this layout.

You can find it, and all Joy's wonderful stamps in her STORE.
I can't wait to make some more Halloween projects with this set!
For more details about this layout, please visit my blog, Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.
I hope you enjoyed my Silly Sophie and her Spooky Halloween outfit.  She's ready for the holiday.  Are you?

Hello, Maria here from Five Simple Things,

I'm getting ready for our annual fall photo shoot
with this scrapbook page!

We're a bunch of nuts so it's themed perfectly.
I used Joy's It's All Fall Puns stamp set
and a few Cricut carts for this one.

The Joy's Life designers will be showcasing
scrapbook layouts all this week,
be sure to come back daily for inspiration.

a Whole Latte Love

Happy Saturday Crafters,
 it's Lori with got2bcrafting!!
I hope you are having a fabulous weekend so far. :)
This week the DT has showcased "shaped cards".  I don't do these very often, but I think they are a lot of fun!
Here is what I came up with:

My sentiment is from the "You're So Punny" stamp set:
You can find this stamp set, along with all the other amazing sets at the Joy's Life Store, here.

This image is an SVG I found at KaDoodle Bug Designs. To create the shaped card, I used Silhouette Studio Designer Ed. software. I layered the SVG image on the screen, then I offset the image (shadow) and traced it. I took the traced image, duplicated it, flipped the second image and then welded the two together to create the base.

I hope you enjoyed my card today, I would love for you to stop by my blog!! :)

from Joy's Life!
This one comes from "It's All Fall Puns."

I hope your fall is going well!
