A very special Thank you to Joy for having me as her Design Team Leader, but all good things must come to an end. Joy is a beautiful lady and I'm going to miss her so much

Please stop my blog HERE where you will find more of my designs.

Buttons - Annette

Hi all! Annette here with my final design team project for Joy's Life. I loved being a part of this team! I will still continue to use these stamps for a very long time! Today's challenge is to use button in a project. Here is a Happy Valentine's Day card using not only buttons, but gems, hearts, twine and a cool technique called masking.  I used stamps from two different sets: Love You is from the All Around Sentiments set and Happy Valentine's Day is from the Holiday Occasions set.

Button it Up! - Anne

I can't believe that this term of the Joy's Life Design Team is coming to a close already!  This has been so much fun and it has been a delight to design with Joy's wonderful stamp sets.  And how about the talent on this team??  Aren't these ladies incredible?  Well, this is my last project for this team and I wanted to do something a little different than I have done before.  This week, the theme we were asked to use was Buttons!  I love buttons as much as the next girl but I see them everywhere, on projects of all kinds.  I also had this awesome pirate digi stamp that I colored around Halloween and never got to use on a project so I decided to make a card with him.  As you will see in the photos, my button is rectangular and almost doesn't look like a button at all.  I thought it was a great match for this swarthy swashbuckler!

I used the Joy's Life You're So Punny stamp set for my greeting and inside sentiment for this card.  Please visit my blog for additional pictures and more information on this project.  I'd like to thank Joy for her graciousness and generosity and for her tireless support of our craft.  It has truly been a pleasure to work with her awesome stamps.  I can't imagine a better company to design for than hers and I wish her continued success in the future.

Family-Stacey

Hi Everyone!

Stacey here showing you my project for this week.

and a close up of my sentiment:

Our challenge this week was family. I decided to make a card for my hubby. I love giving him random cards, sometimes I hide them in his lunch, other times I put them by his coffee cup. Actually I have quite a few hiding spots for his little surprise cards. I used the Yummy Puns Stamp Set for my card.

Animal friends - Anne

Hi, everybody! Anniebee here with a new project for Joy's Life Design Team. Joy asked us to create projects with an animal theme this week and I had these two wonderful digi stamps of a mare with her foal and a horse halter that were just begging to be colored (with Copics, of course!) so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to show them off.

Both of the stamps I used are from Joy's Life Barnyard Puns stamp set, which is available for purchase here.  I stamped them in Top Boss embossing medium and used WOW! Earthtone Blueberry embossing powder in Earthtone Blueberry to make them pop!  I think these stamps work so well together and they are probably my favorites of the Barnyard Puns.

Please visit my personal blog for more photos and information about this card.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Metal - Martha

Good Morning and Happy New Year!!!!  Our First Challenge for this week was to work with Metal, So I made this Layout using a Metal sheet.  I made the words using the Everyday Occasions Stamp set from Joyslife.com.  The words are actually magnets that I can move around.  No picture yet, Valentine's Day is my Wedding Anniversary so I will use a picture from that day.  You can get more details on how I made this Layout on my personal blog at http://pattisscrapingtime.blogspot.com .  Don't forget to checkout the rest of the DT creations.  Have a Great day.
